Wow! What an amazing experience to direct a show for Theatre ‘d Art! We hit a few bumps in the road but thanks to an extremely talented cast and crew we’ve pulled off the best theatre production I’ve been a part of. So many things had to come together in such a limited amount of time, and I think we’ve all learned so much about ourselves and our capabilites.
This was the second largest cast for a Theatre ‘D Art show ever, but we were blessed that so many people brought not only themselves but many unknown talents to the table. Susan Mopper and Greg Reilly weren’t only cast members they also fine tuned our approach to military bearing, uniform and drill. Mark Hennessy and Brian Mann were invaluable when it came to general education about the Gaza War and the history of that conflict. The special effects alone were a combination of many different peoples knowledge and expertise. With only four weeks(!) to pull it all together we had an incredible, dynamic and unforgettable show.
